HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT TAKE ?
Each cycle of treatment last 25 minutes with one to four independent applicators being used to cycle.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED ?
One treatment is enough to cause a reduction in fat, flattening a bulging area. Depending on the thinness of the area and the desired degree of reduction, more treatments may be necessary to achieve your goal shape. Most patients see results with as little as one treatment. Based upon your desired results, you may wish to have additional treatments. You can safely treat more than one session at same day. Ask your SculpSure clinician about the best treatment plan for you. During the consultation, you will be advised on the likely number of treatment depending on your size and the areas being treated.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING THE TREATMENT ?
Most patients feel a tingling sensation intermittently throughout the treatment which is generally well tolerated.
HOW LONG BEFORE I CAN RESUME NORMAL ACTIVITIES?
There is no downtime with SculpSure. So, you can have the treatment at any time and return to normal activities.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY LIKE ?
After the treatment, mild swelling is common along with mild tenderness or the area may feel slightly bruised. Occasionally mild firmness in the treated areas might develop and will subside over several weeks. Tenderness typically may last a week or two. During this time, normal work and exercise are encouraged.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS ?
The fat cells are destroyed during your 25-minute treatment but your body must then eliminate the damaged fat cell. You should see results as early as 6 weeks following treatment as the body gets rid of the destroyed fat cells (10-23 % on the area treated), with optimal results seen at 12 weeks. For some, it might take longer. Individual results may vary. Any specific claims or permanence length of results vary for each patient and are not guaranteed.
HOW LONG WILL THE RESULS LAST ?
Treated fat cells are permanently destroyed during the treatment, removed from your body and will not regenerate. It is similar to what happens in liposuction elimination. If your weigh is stable, the fat should not come back to the area treated.
